This role of Technical Support Analyst is to act as the primary technical interface and escalation point to its regional users.  The role provides hands on local tech support for computer, desk phone, smartphone, peripheral related incidents, problems and service requests; collaborate with various departments to provide support for SCADA, security, infrastructure, application support escalations.  The Technical Support Analyst also performs user administration tasks and setups for adds/modifications and termination of accounts, provisioning of Pcs, cell phones and peripherals in line with the company security and compliance guidelines.

Job Functions:

  • Provide testing, training and local technical support for - regional office users, Mobile users, local GIS, SCADA, Physical efforts
  • First contact for regional Incident Management
  • Perform routine visits to remote locations for maintenance and tech/support needs
  • Maintain inventory of all local technology assets in line with compliance and in support of company Cyber Security guidelines
  • Install and maintain computer, telecommunications, network peripherals and software applications
  • Perform desktop patching, image deployment following company standards
  • Create and maintain user accounts, including rights, security and systems groups in line with company compliance needs
  • Support procurement, configuration and retirement of computer, telephone and mobile devices
  • Application installation and configuration
  • Provide local support for Cyber Security technologies, incident management
  • Provide local support and maintenance for regional network and server infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Broad Job Knowledge-Broader knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced knowledge of specific technical operational practices.
  • University-Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Working knowledge of ITIL, Microsoft Active Directory
