Purpose


An opportunity to join a dynamic team driven to source, attract and engage diverse top talent across North America. Provide senior level support and leadership to Advanced Metering Infrastructure Projects. Assure timely completion and management of economically installed AMI infrastructure: Provide technical and management support through recommendation and implementation of AMI projects. Duties for AMI projects include oversight in reviewing contracts, procurement, construction, and ongoing operations and maintenance to insure that Liberty Utilities’ interests are being met. Provide strategic support in areas of future AMI regulations and associated equipment installations. This position will also be responsible for planning and supervising the purchase, inventory, testing and maintenance of electric meters.

Accountabilities

 

Participate as a leader of the AMI management team to (1) assure adequate project resources are available to meet project deadlines; (2) identify and mitigate project risks; (3) provide technical operating and project support; (4) and provide initial support of AMI system once it is implemented.

Manage the AMI project and project personnel including eternal vendors, third party construction contractors, supply invoicing, project information, and variance reports. This should be done in a manner that is easily compatible with Liberty Utilities system and business practices.

 

 

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering or Project Management or five (5) years Electric Utility experience with project management experience. A valid driver’s license. Must be familiar with PC word processing, spreadsheet and database applications, and electronic file management.
