Customer First includes the implementation of SAP and other integrated technologies along with leading practice processes.

Mandate: The role of the Reporting Lead is to be accountable for the development, adoption and ongoing evolution of a best-in-class reporting capability (SAP Analytics Cloud).
The Reporting Lead will work closely with business stakeholders to understand business objectives in order to design and develop value added reporting. The roles entails hands-on development and delivery of key reporting solutions, dashboards, scorecards and ad hoc reporting for businesses with focus on ERP, CIS, EAM.This individual will also participate and provide input to the Reporting strategy. The reporting lead works with various team members including the System integrator to ensure that reporting deliverables are successfully developed with quality and on time. He/she obtains signoff of various reporting deliverables from key stakeholders. The Reporting Lead assists the SAP Project Director with project life cycle requirements related to the reporting readiness portion of Customer First, including scheduling, status reporting, and issues tracking. This individual will be required to continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in reporting area and keep current on emerging trends/developments.

Job Functions:

  • Reporting Leadership
    • Participate in planning activities and integrate deliverables/activities with System Integrator as it relates to reporting
    • Enhance knowledge/expertise in reporting/analytics area and keep current on emerging trends/developments
    • Develop and or Deliver presentation/communications to management or broader audience
    • Participate in and contribute to the knowledge transfer within the team and business units
  • Assessment and Design
    • Work with business stakeholders to understand business objectives/requirements in order to design and develop reporting solutions and ad-hoc extracts
    • Participate reporting requirement workshops led by System Integrator
  • Build and Test
    • Configure/Develop specialized reporting packages, dashboards and scorecards for business with focus on ERP, EAM, CIS
    • Unit test build deliverables
    • Assist the LUCC functional/business experts in validating the reports
    • Co-ordinate the sign off of report deliverables by stakeholders
  • Project Execution
    • Assist with managing project scope
    • Participate in project planning activities and manage the execution according to plan
    • Manage issues and risks with PMO
    • Provide project status report to PMO
    • Assist with the deployment of the Enterprise Solution (cut over and post Go-Live support)
  • Staff and resource
    • Manages Reporting Analyst includes: hiring, counseling, scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, and career development.
    • Directs and assists reporting team member so assigned reporting deliverables are completed with quality and on time.
    • Staff Development: Identifies employees’ strengths and weaknesses, and initiates actions to provide development opportunities by assessing progress against goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Broad Job Knowledge - Broader knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced knowledge of specific technical/operational practices
  • University - Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of experiences
  • Certification or proven track record in one or more of the following areas:
    • ITIL service management
    • GIS, ERP and/or CIS
    • SQL Developer
    • SSRS Report Development
    • Crystal Report Development
    • Business Analysis
    • SAP Cloud Analytics
