Responsible for supporting the full lifecycle recruiting needs in North America.
Partner closely with leadership to deeply understand their teams and hiring needs while making hiring recommendations, support events, and build strategy to hire amazing people.
Develop research to map our markets and generate candidate names and profiles; create and execute robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent; calibrate candidates with hiring managers.
Identify new ways to build awareness of Algonquin Power & Utilities in the hiring markets through marketing and social media activities
Track pipeline data and provide relevant updates to partners on all roles/projects supported
Research, plan and implement process improvement
Establish local community relationships to increase brand awareness and give back our expertise

Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of direct experience in full lifecycle recruiting including job analysis, sourcing, qualifying, interviewing and negotiating salary packages
• Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including Boolean and deep dive research.
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in behavioral/situational interviewing techniques, particularly at the senior/complex level
• ATS Experience, Success Factor preferred, MS Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong sense of urgency; results and action oriented; a track record of execution
• Experiencing leading and prioritizing multiple strategic searches, projects and client relationships
• Self-sufficiency and an ability to work with little direct supervision
