**This position is an internship and is open for College Students to apply to only**

Mandate: Liberty Utilities has an opening for an Intern within our Business Development Department. In this position, you will complete a variety of functions including research and analysis of Business Development opportunities including renewables, energy efficiency and sustainability; Development and support of Excel spreadsheets; along with administrative support to regional and state Directors within the department.

Job Functions:
    • Perform the due diligence required to support business development initiatives.
    • Research industry trends on technology and sustainability which affect business lines
    • Design and establish new spreadsheets to be used by the department
    • Research, segment and report on Liberty Utilities service territory based on several key demographics.

 

Minimum Requirements
  • Third year of college, minimum
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Products
  • Competencies

    • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
    • Ability to be flexible, decisive and quick-thinking
    • Ability to work both independently and as a team
    • Commitment to excellence and reliability to work schedule

    • Run and develop reports as needed
    • Team player with the willingness to support other parts of the organization
