Mandate: Required to have overall responsibility for the operation of the Cogeneration Facility and Solar Farm. Required to operate the Distributive Control System (DCS), perform water testing, safe startup and shutdown of the facility, assist maintenance department and make accurate rounds in the control room and through out the plant. Responsible for all environmental systems and monitoring.

Job Functions:

  • Operations
    • Distributive Control System: operation, troubleshooting and corrective action
    • Environmental System: knowledge of system, monitoring, troubleshooting and corrective action
    • Water Testing: testing, data acquisition, knowledge of process and limits, troubleshooting and corrective action
  • Protection
    • Fire Protection System: knowledge of system, monitoring, troubleshooting and corrective action
    • Security System: knowledge of system, monitoring, troubleshooting and corrective action
  • Other
    • Work Order System: prepare work orders as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education- High School, Vocational Training (or equivalent)
  • Experience- 5 – 7 years experience in Steam Plant Operations.
  • Secondary skills in the area of maintenance.
