**This position is an internship and is open for College Students to apply to only**

Mandate:  This position is responsible for designing, engineering, and managing Gas Engineering Projects and Gas Engineering Systems. The position provides designs for Service to new customers and expansion/upgrade of existing gas main and facilities. The position may also provide periodic reporting and related support to operations construction and sales teams.

Job Functions:
  • Plan, develop, implement, and manage the work plan for New Gas Services - Sales Projects.

  • Working with the Maps and Records group, perform records research for the ongoing Gas Service Line Mapping project.

  • Assist Planning Engineer in analyzing Synergi model of Gas Distribution System.

  • Participate in the review and update of the Distribution Integrity Management Plan (DIMP)

  • Manage the securing of permits and licenses, and municipal/governmental requirements to complete designs and undertake the project.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers in order to obtain and/or provide basic types of factual information.

  • Possess excellent written and oral communications skills. Motivated, self-starter with ability to work in a flexible and fast paced environment.

  • Requires proficient computer skills for data entry, reporting, reference and/or retrieval tasks.

  • Valid driver’s license required as there may be meetings with municipalities or other agencies.
