Performs primary customer contact functions. Maintains all billing and collections records. Prepares service orders,
maintains customer accounts in the CIS system, conducts collection activities, and provides all cashier functions.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Answer all incoming calls within standards set for key performance indicators

  • Respond to all customers’ inquiries and complaints.

  • Schedule and communicate service orders to the Field Service Representatives

  • Ensure all service orders are complete and entered into the CIS system

  • Process all customer payments, prepare daily deposits, maintain cash reports

  • Open and distribute incoming mail.

  • Maintain customer files in the company CIS system.

  • Maintain active collections process adhering to business processes and APSC rules

  • Calculate, process, and post customer billing adjustments.

  • Know and abide by company’s safety policy and procedures.

  • Projects as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2 years experience in office customer service
    Excellent telephone skills

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Good oral and communications skills

 

EFFORT



  • Physical: Sit for long periods of time viewing computer screens and utilizing a keyboard and mouse.

  • Sensory: Must be able to see, hear, speak clearly, and converse in English.

  • Mental: Must be able to read, write, and compute simple math problems.
