Customer First is an organization wide transformation program driving people, process and technology change. Customer First includes the implementation of SAP and other integrated technologies along with leading practice processes.

We will need you to: 

  • Provide and support the Customer First Program needs of the Transformation business
  • Act as the "go to" person for the modeling and analysis of the Customer First Program costs while ensuring there is effective cross functional collaboration 
  • Assist in completing a variety of financial analysis and program management activities related to the monthly reporting the of program costs as well as financial administration activities of the Customer First program
  • Familiar with a wide variety of accounting, financial, planning and modeling and project management concepts
Specific areas of focus:
  • Create and maintain project budgets and schedules
  • Provide accurate monthly reports with detailed variance analysis of actual results compared to budget and re-forecast when necessary
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports together with the year end schedules, cost reports and reconciliations and assist in the preparation of management reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of the cost benefit analysis and documentation
  • Provide administrative support of the benefits realization process
  • Preparation of program status reports and materials for the different committee meetings
  • Responsible for the on/off boarding of employees in the Customer First Program
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of program documentation
  • Other duties as assigned by the program management office

Experience & Abilities you bring:

  • University - Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting theory, generally accepted accounting principles and the Code of Federal Regulations
  • Utility accounting experience an asset
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and report  financial information
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong experience with database applications and Excel 
  • Experience with Great Plains and/or SAP system would be an asset
