This role will be the single point of contact for client expectations as tied to training and L&D services. The person in this role is responsible for the daily operations of the Learning and Development team. The core function of this role is to ensure the governance, integrity and maintenance of the enterprise-wide Learning Management System. This role will lead the planning of enterprise-wide training schedules and lead, coach and train our Training Coordinators and Trainers on our policies, procedures, and LMS. They will also build positive relationship with our key training vendors to build and sustain reciprocal relationships



Customer Service:

  • Promote and ensure the Learning and Development vision remains strong by educating and communicating our culture, vision, policies and procedures to employees

  • Support and build reciprocal partnership with each regions and our various business groups by providing service that add is valuable, high-quality and timely

  • Focused on continuous improvements tied to learning operations’ systems and procedures


L&D Technology:

  • Responsible for the governance, maintenance and/or functionality enhancements of the enterprise-wide Learning Management System (LMS) and training that supports it

  • Responsible for writing a business case for any recommended new courseware or LMS upgrades to Director of L&D

  • Build and maintain curriculum paths in the LMS and educate managers and employees on their use

  • Data Management of training records including new acquisitions

  • Build automated reports for key business groups (i.e. Compliance) and Managers

  • Responsible for maintaining all L&D technology contracts and license agreements

  • Maintains the Learning and Development portal and any team SharePoint sites


Learning Operations:

  • Single point of contact for training requests – use mini training needs assessment to resolve high-level need prior to communicating during team meeting

  • Accountable for handling the L&D Outlook mailbox

  • Logistics associated to training delivery/scheduling (catering, materials, printing, facilities, equipment, room set-up, etc.)

  • Handle vendor training proposals, purchase orders, cost allocation, relationships and invoicing.

  • Querying training reports as requested

  • Financial tracking and reporting of all training related costs

  • Ensure all training evaluations are reviewed and any issues are brought to the attention with recommendations to the Director

Supervisory Skills:

  • Teach and provide ongoing coach and feedback to Training Coordinator

  • Co-create Training Coordinator performance and developmental goals

  • Train and Assist Trainer on use of effective us of the LMS

  • Host regular Training Coordinator and Trainer calls on driving efficiencies in our process and updating on changes coming to system or process


Education & Experience

  • University-Bachelor’s degree in Business or College degree of equivalence

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience
